I hold a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University and a master’s degree from Georgetown University. During my undergraduate years at Chapman, I worked in the admissions office as a work-study student, igniting my passion for higher education.
My career took a significant leap forward at Georgetown University, where I served as the Associate Director of Admissions and Outreach for the School of Nursing & Health Studies. In this role, I was an integral member of the admissions committee, evaluating applications and making admission decisions.
Following my tenure at Georgetown, I joined Datatel (now Ellucian) as a Sales Consultant. This role allowed me to travel extensively across the United States and Canada, collaborating with colleges and universities of all sizes to enhance their business processes through innovative ERP solutions.
I was also one of the early employees at Parchment and eventually became the Chief of Staff and Director of Operations. Parchment is an education technology company dedicated to helping students turn their credentials into opportunities. Over my nine years at Parchment, I worked closely with high school counselors and college admissions and registrar offices nationwide, streamlining the processes for sending, receiving, and processing transcripts and diplomas.
My journey in higher education continued as the Chief Operating Officer at Capture Higher Education, a marketing services and technology company that partners with admissions offices across the country to improve their outreach and enrollment strategies.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of visiting over 400 college and university campuses across 46 states and 5 Canadian provinces. These experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of the diverse educational landscapes and the unique opportunities each institution offers.
